Description
Matte fold over elastic (FOE) is very soft and has a gentle stretch that will not leave marks on baby’s chubby legs. This is ideal for edging diaper covers and leg gussets, as well us underwear and other garment edging.
Sewing with FOE
FOE has a fold line down the centre to make it easy to sew and gives a professional finish on diaper covers and underwear. We recommend using a ballpoint or knit needle when sewing and a three step zig zag stitch. The elastic can be stretched to gather your edge while sewing or eased around corners for a flat finish.
We do not recommend our matte FOE for gathering thick fabrics as it has been designed to have a gentle stretch.

- Machine wash
- Do not wash with hook and loop as it can snag the soft fibers in your FOE.
